Humans are naturally creatures of habit. From our choice of hairstyle to the food we eat, clothes we wear, daily routines and even down to the TV shows we watch, we are often resistant to change.
But sometimes a little change is what we need to help our minds, our bodies, and even the health of the planet.
Take our dental health as an example. With oral health closely linked to our overall wellbeing, it is important to keep our teeth and gums in the best possible condition.
Making a small change to our daily oral care routines, such as incorporating interdental cleaning alongside regular toothbrushing, can bring big benefits for our health.
To lift a lid on the psychology of change, we surveyed 2,000 adults across the UK to understand our attitudes to change and how this links back to our overall wellbeing.
In our new report, our team of experts, comprising of Behavioural Psychologist Jo Hemmings, and our very own Dental Therapist Amanda Sheehan, share insight on the findings and provide helpful advice on how we can confidently make small tweaks to our everyday habits to improve our wellbeing.
