Help us fight breast cancer

At TePe, we are committed to sustainability and health awareness for people worldwide. That´s why we proudly support the Pink Ribbon initiative. During October, we contribute to cancer research by donating a part for every purchased product in pink. Join us in the fight against breast cancer.

October is the breast cancer awareness month when organisations and individuals join forces to support cancer research. As an international company committed to sustainability and health awareness, TePe engages in Pink Ribbon initiatives all over the world. Last year, TePe´s global initiatives contributed over EUR 110,000 to the cause.

Various TePe products will be packaged in pink, and a sum will be donated for every purchased product to support the cause. Though the selection of campaign products vary between markets, all are made with sustainably sourced materials and produced in Sweden using 100% renewable energy. TePe makes continuous efforts to phase out fossil raw materials and lower the carbon footprint. Our TePe Good Regular Toothbrush, TePe Supreme and Mini Flosser are a part of our Pink Ribbon initiative this year.

Regarding the connection between oral health, more specifically periodontal disease, and cancer, this is not fully established. There are however some studies that point to an association, primarily to lung cancer. Oral bacteria have been found in tumours, and researchers are working with the hypothesis that they might migrate here. Like with many other conditions, periodontal disease and cancer have joint risk factors and a healthy lifestyle, including good oral hygiene, should always be high on the agenda.
